New Construction

From empty lot to welcome home

Ground-up custom homes built on your land — managed stick by stick from plans and permits to the day the lights come on.

Completed modern farmhouse home at dusk with warm lights

ALC builds new custom homes on your lot in Lincoln, Rocklin, Roseville, Loomis, and greater Placer County. This is a different service than buying in a development: it's your land, your plans, and a builder who answers his own phone. Site work, foundation, framing, and finish are one accountable schedule with owner Alejandro Tomas on it daily.

To be clear about fit: if you're shopping for a move-in-ready home in a new subdivision, that's a home builder's sales office. If you have land — or found land — and want the house done right, that's us. Semi-rural lots around Loomis and west Lincoln are where we do our best work.

Straight Answers

What building a custom home depends on

Per-square-foot numbers you see online skip the part where every lot is different. What actually shapes the budget:

  • The lot itself. Slope, soil, access, and utility distance set the site-work budget before framing begins.
  • Plan complexity. Rooflines, spans, and story count move structure costs more than square footage alone.
  • Finish level. We build the same house honestly at different finish tiers — chosen on paper, not mid-build.
  • Permits and impact fees. City and county fees are real line items; we put them in the written budget up front.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you build on land I already own?

Yes — building on your lot is exactly what ALC does. We start with a free site walk to evaluate access, utilities, and grading before you commit to anything.

How much does new construction cost per square foot?

Honest answer: per-square-foot numbers mislead, because your lot and plan drive the budget. After a site walk and plan review you get a real written number for your actual build.

How long does it take to build a custom home?

Site conditions, plan approval, and weather all play in. The written schedule comes with the estimate, and you'll always know what week you're in.

Can you help with plans and permits?

Yes — we work with your plans or coordinate design, then handle city or county submittal, corrections, and inspections through final.
